GemStone Systems, provider of the Enterprise Data Fabric, announced a strategic alliance with KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd to offer high performance computing and cluster management solutions to global corporations across the U.S., India, Japan and Europe.
Securities and asset management firms with high volume transaction processing, especially in the fixed income and derivatives business are today facing problems of increasing volumes, complex instruments, and a need for increased IT performance, GemStone said in a release.
The strategic alliance will leverage the expertise of KPIT Cummins, an IT consulting firm with niche focus in diversified financial services, in high transaction volume systems for global securities, asset management and payment processing firms using GemFire, the flagship product of GemStone.
GemFire provides low latency, high throughput data sharing, event distribution, high resiliency and scalability, and operates on multiple platforms in diverse operating environments, the company said.
