ESC to Show Indian Embedded Systems Companies the Road Ahead in Recession


The Embedded Systems Conference, to be held in July in Bangalore will include a panel discussion that will help explore growth opportunities in the Indian semiconductor market

UBM India and TechInsights, has recently announced an exclusive CXO Panel Discussion on the second day of Embedded Systems Conference India 2009 in Bangalore.  The panel discussion titled “Opportunities for scaling for Indian embedded Product/Service Companies” moderated by Mr. K. Chandrasekhar ex-Director - Strategic Alliances & Partnerships (Asia Pacific) - NXP Semiconductors, is part of the Embedded Systems Conference scheduled to be held in Bangalore from 22-24 July 2009.


 

The discussion will look at exploring the growth opportunities that MNC semiconductor companies offer. It will also look growth opportunities for the Indian embedded product and services that exist in current market. The panelists who will be a part of this discussion include G. Venkatesh, Chief Technology & Strategy Officer - Sasken Communication Technologies, Praveen Ganapathy, Director - Corporate Business Development & DSP - Texas Instrument India and Arvind Jayabal, Head - Mobile Devices - Wipro Technologies.

 

The event also will feature a Keynote address by Bruce Powel Douglass, Ph.D. and Chief Evangelist for IBM Rational. Bruce is a highly-visible and well-known expert in the field of software development with over 30 years experience. He is the “face” of UML for real-time and embedded systems and is easily the one of the most visible members of IBM to that industry. He is an industry-wide recognized expert in structured and object-oriented methodologies, C/C++/Visual Basic/Pascal/Ada, real-time embedded systems development, safety critical systems, C4ISR/DODAF with UML, and complex systems design. This session is OPEN to all.
