Overwhelming Response to Interop Mumbai 2009

 NC News Network

After the grand success of Interop Mumbai 2009, the leading global business technology event, TechWeb, the global leader in business technology media, will bring the second edition of ‘Interop Mumbai’ to India again from September 28 to 30, 2010.

Interop Mumbai 2009 focused exclusively on the growing needs of the business technology industry in India and South Asia and highlighted relevant issues of the South Asian business market including software, infrastructure, services, mobility, security and enterprise communications.
Commenting on the success of Interop Mumbai 2009, Lenny Heymann, Interop GM said, “Until recently, the Indian IT market lacked a significant industry event where business technology leaders could collaborate and celebrate their progress.”

Sunil Mehta, CIO, JWT, said, “Big conferences are common abroad, but this is the first time that an event of this scale has been organized in India. I am sure it’s the beginning of a new era in the Indian conferences and exhibition space.”

Commenting on the conference, Shirish Gariba, General Secretary, CIO Klub, said, “It’s good for businesses to meet vendors under one roof. Such events are common outside India, but Interop 2009 gave senior IT managers/professionals a chance to visit an exhibition of international repute.”

Interop Mumbai 2010 will continue to include an in-depth educational program covering topics such as security, IT infrastructure, mobility, communications, and emerging technologies and trends. The schedule includes extensive workshops, panels and sessions to provide attendees with a unique opportunity to interact face-to-face with industry experts and global thought leaders.
