 Flood Preparedness Session: July 21, 2009

Mumbai could be facing a re-enactment of the catastrophe that devastated life and property in July 2005. Better preparedness would certainly help overcome the crisis.


Mahindra Special Services Group will be conducting a Flood Preparedness Session on July 21, 2009 at the Y B Chavan Centre, Nariman Point, Mumbai.


This is a complementary session for all Network Computing subscribers.


The session would cover the following topics:

  • Lessons learnt from 2005 floods: Do’s and Don’ts during floods
  • Analysis of the current situation in Mumbai and assessment of risk exposure of the organization in terms of physical, personnel, and information assets
  • Preparations made by Government agencies and expectations from corporates and individuals (especially in flood prone areas)

You could choose from 3 session slots:

  • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
  • 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Including an address by the Chief Guest, Indu Shahani, Sheriff of Mumbai 
  • 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
