Intense and Hitachi Data Systems Join Hands

Enterprises will benefit from Intense next-generation solutions and applications of combined Hitachi content-aware storage and Content Archive Platform

NC News Network, June 3 2009, 1030 hrs

Intense Technologies, an enterprise agility software products company, and Hitachi Data Systems have joined hands to jointly market and offer enterprises a combination of long term content archival and retention solutions. Intense recently announced that Hitachi Data Systems will now be its Technology Partner.

Intense says it will offer DMS solutions that complement Hitachi storage devices and address challenges posed by growing compliance needs across industries. The company claims that the solutions offered by this partnership will enable large enterprises to manage mission critical content and achieve compliances that mandate retention, data integrity and open-interoperability.

Speaking on this occasion, C K Shastri, MD, Intense Technologies said, “Going forward, as our Technology Partner, Hitachi Data Systems will help us further extend the solution scope and application breadth of our robust process and knowledge agility offering, the iECM Suite. We are confident that in association with Hitachi Data Systems, our joint value proposition to enterprises across verticals and geographies will be compelling.”

Intense's knowledge and process agility offering, the intelligent Enterprise Content Management (iECM) Suite enables small, medium and large scale enterprises across verticals to organize and streamline their unstructured data and integrate people, processes and documents optimally.

“We look forward to working closely with Intense to jointly market its next-generation solutions and applications for long term content archival and retention”, said Marc Trimuschat, Senior Director, Worldwide Alliances, Hitachi Data Systems. “These solutions are a great complement to our content-aware storage offerings, including the Hitachi Content Archive Platform.”
